NRW Legal is the legal studio of Nicholas R. Wallace, a New York-based attorney known for pairing corporate rigor with artistic sensibility.

With foundations built at Milbank LLP and Jones Day, Nicholas advises companies, creatives and emerging ventures across spaces where ideas and commerce intersect with technology, media, sports and the arts.

Nicholas serves as general counsel to Re-Emerging Athletes, helping design the governance and legal framework for a new U.S. professional tennis league. He is also Legal Advisor to the National Queer Theatre, where he works at the intersection of arts, policy, advocacy and cultural strategy.

The firm approaches legal work like a design discipline: precise, intentional and refined. Every contract, negotiation and structure is crafted to elevate the client's vision and support growth with clarity and sophistication.

Education:

Nicholas R. Wallace holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, a top-ten law program, and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, a top-five public-policy program. During his graduate studies, he received the Hispanic Lawyers Scholarship Fund of Illinois Award and the Clara Belfield & Henry Bates Overseas Fellowship, completing policy and legal work in Mexico City and São Paulo.

Nicholas earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Fordham University, including academic study at Universitat de Barcelona and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

He is a graduate of Boston College High School.

Nicholas is admitted in New York and fluent in Spanish.
